About to start on effects for my latest feature. I've gotten a handle on mastering from AE after cutting in Vegas by exporting an EDL and opening that in AE. For the effects work, I'm thinking about doing an EDL of each clip that's needed and importing that into AE. Once there I can do the effects work and render a new version of the clip, which will then be put back into the main timeline in Vegas. Here's the issue: When I do this, the newly rendered file (with the effects) is two frames shorter than it was before. I've tired this multiple times, making sure to match framerates and everything. Any ideas?

maybe "interpret footage" is set to 30fps and your timeline is 23.976?

Some new info---
While in AE, the project is the exact same length as the original clip-right down to the frame. So something is happening during the render.
@Mr. Ichybob-I double checked and everything is set to 23.976
