The Guide is one of the best investments I've made. Seriously, when I was just starting out, it gave me a leg to stand on. I know I've read it at least three times since. Totally awesome.

I wholeheartedly agree with the guys. It is an amazing book. Had the same effect on me during my first read as the first time I saw Robert Rodriguez's El Mariachi 10 minute film school. Amazing book!
(surprisingly the ol' guide hasn't been being pimped around here too much lately. I guess Stu isn't out and about talking about it like he used to be. Either way, always deserves a good thumbs up).

I've read it more than once. And every time I enjoy it even more! You are about to receive the best X-mas present since you were 5 years old!!!

You cannot possibly get as much movie out of your effort or money as you can by using the information in this book.
It's not just for action movies, either. Stu has made a lot of Hollywood magic accessible to ordinary people (like us!).
The DVRG is absolutely essential education for making movies today.
