Post FCP Error Message Reply with quote
Today I received my footage from the film lab. I had them transfer the 16mm footage to Apple ProRes files. However, I just attempted to import the FCP project file they sent, but I received an error message saying the project file was too new for my version of FCP (6.5). But, they also sent to quicktime files containing all of my footage and they work fine. So, my question is: Will there be any quality loss doing it this way, rather than using the FCP project file?
