I used to think the prolost website was down for a very longtime. I tried the old link to the DVRG forum which was http://prolost.blogspot.com not knowing it had changed to http://rebelsguide.com/forum/

So what did I miss guyz... Very Happy

Welcome back, KK!

Haven't been too active here, but some good info shared nonetheless.

I just realized that last post of mine was the first in months! Moved and started my own company since I last posted.

Good to see everyone!

HA! You funny guy! Very Happy

It's now Brett Noe Productions. Been busy lately. Did a short film at the end/beginning of the year for the local IFP chapter Masterpiece Challenge. My wife conceived the story and directed. I wrote the screenplay and did most everything else but act. Smile In true Rebel style, it was shot with the T2i and HG20. In two days. Then posted in, I think, three days. Here is the link on Vimeo:

Tell me what you all think of it.

My go to lens is the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8. I also occasionally use my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8. I tend to use them as variable primes as opposed to zooms. I do also use my Nikon AI lenses with the Fotodiox adapters.

I don't think I've looked at this site in years. Funny to see this thread when I log in for the first time in forever.

Welcome Back, Arthur!

Seems like old home week lately, with all the folks cropping up here and even Gage reappearing on Twitter.

I love it!

Makes me glad to be a part of this community as it comes back to life.

I still say Stu should release updated editions of the Rebels Guide every couple of years to keep up with advancing technology. The principles of the book remain the same of course, I learnt a lot from those principles. That would bring this forum back to life.
