I have a problem with After Effects when i work with a footage in a timeline, when a msg comes saying, openGL error monitor color depth must be 32-bit. What does this mean while in the project settings there are two choices to work with, 8-bit and 16-bit? After getting that msg, i went to Display properties and saw that my pc's screen settings was set to color quality of 32-bit, does this concern with the problem in AE?

I guess somehow your previews got set to work with OpenGL. Go to Edit>Preferences>Previews and you can disable OpenGL, or fiddle with the OpenGL settings until it works.

Make sure you've got all your updates. There was one that addressed certain OpenGL issues. I started getting errors out of nowhere one day and disabling OpenGL for some reason only mitigated the issue, didn't fix it totally. Running the updates fixed it though, and a Google search - if I remember correctly - turned up a couple of things to try in case it didn't.
