... COFFEE! Stu, and anyone else, where can I get some good beans? And why should I NOT get the bagged beans by companies like Ghirardelli? Which ones are your favorite?

I'm used to the Five O'clock brand so I'm sure I'm missing out on some good "wakeup juice."

They do have a store locater on their website. I've seen the stores scattered sparsely around LA, but dont know where they are from or how far they reach.

Peets is the brand that they have here at work. It's very strong - VERY dark roast.

I love peet's! I first started drinking it in utero. Peet's started in Berkeley, California. It was the inspiration for the guys who started Starbucks. Starbucks served Peet's beans the first year they were open. There was a non-compete between the two companies for some time, but clearly it's done now. Peet's is awesome.

Instant coffee is one of the nastiest things ever created. The kind that you put the ground up stuff and mix in hot water and it blends together like hot chocolate? EEEEkkkkk
