Tattooing is my "day job" and here is the first in a series of shorts I'm shooting as promos for my studio. Please let me know what you think.
Shot on 550D and edited in AE CS5.

Nice job, Matt.

The jump to her interview was a little abrupt for me visually. Maybe a dissolve might soften it a little bit.

I look forward to seeing more!

awesome to know your a traditional artist as well! might need to ask you for some favors in the future!
maybe right now if your interested and not that busy?

also i think, for the interview part, asking questions like "so the catfish represents your father" is a bit weird. in interview segments you usually dont hear the interviewee

explain to the person being interviewed that they should answer the questions fully so that by hearing the answer the audience will know the question, and ask things like "what does the catfish represent" rather then "so the catfish represents your father?"

Hey Matt,
Great piece, really liked the music, went well with the mood. Nice to see you talk about the ideas behind the artwork too. I didn't really have a problem with the jump in the interview, maybe a dissolve would be fine, but it gave kind of a kick that I didn't mind. Look forward to seeing more.
