Evolucion (the red goblet) by treyvollmer, on Flickr

EVOLUCION is a spanish fairy tale that was inspired by the theory of evolution and a stuffed animal. I wanted to make something that marked the transition from the HV30 to the GH1 that so many of us are making - here is 5 minutes worth of "intercut footage". As much as I love the GH1, the HV30 can still hold it's own.

I hope you all enjoy the film,

Trey

Wow! Excellent. The low light footage looks good.

Excellent job gov! Really well done. I especially loved the long low dolly shots.

Hi Trey, Their has been a real evolution in the quality of your work Smile Interesting to watch.

Reminds me of an experiment I read about recently:
2 groups were taught to make ceramic pots on a wheel. The first group was told to make one masterpiece. The second group was told to make as many as they could. When judged by an independent panel who had no knowledge of the experiment or groupings, the group that was told to make as many as possible scored much higher in craftsmanship and artistic ability.

Thank you, Mr. Ichybob and I take your analogy as an absolute compliment:)
