Post Using a Shake LUT in AE CS4 Reply with quote
Hi, all...I'm hoping someone here can help me out as I haven't been able to find what I need in any of my searches.

I have a nearly 50 year old film I'm restoring that was scanned on an ArriScan scanner. I've been provided the LUT I need (a .txt file) and can use it perfectly in Shake via the LookupFile node.

However, I'd much rather do the color correction for the film in AE CS4 as I'm a big fan of the Photoshop-esque tools.

The problem is that I can't seem to find any means of using my custom LUT as part of a Cineon workflow in AE. Can it be done, or am I relegated to using the presets Adobe has provided?

I've also considered converting the LUT to an ICC profile, but haven't been able to find a means to do so. Is that possible as a workaround?

Thanks.
