Got a question. You (stu) say it's not good to online in FCP. But, what if I use Colorista in FCP, and do all onlining in there? Then I wouldn't have to do the whole AE thing. I would have it all in FCP. Just wondering...

If color correction is all you need to do, then go for it. But I've discussed amply the numerous other reasons why you'd want to move your online to AE, including all the powerful tools available inside After Effects. Personally, I wouldn't want to color correct a film without the ability to compare shots for consistency in a thumbnail view, which the DV Rebel Tools script palette allows.
By restricting yourself to what can be done in the NLE you are cutting yourself off from opportunities to enhance your production value. But it's your choice.
Dang. I guess there's no way around buying Automatic Duck.

Once you take the plunge and get it you may be like other users and say "What took me so long?!"
Mostly I'm posting to clarify that Colorista FXPlug settings in FCP will translate to After Effects in Pro Import AE version 4.0, a new version we announced at NAB this year. It will be shipping this summer. Pro Import AE 3.0 can not translate Colorista from FCP.
However if you buy PIAE3 now, you will be eligible to upgrade to version 4.0 at no charge when it ships.
