Not sure what you mean about it making sense, but the link is an ebook of sorts. Its actually a collection of postings and that site is a college of sorts for animators. Very expensive though...

Actually downloaded it a week or so ago. They wanted you to sign up to his email list to get the link though. Animation Mentor is THE premiere online animation school.
I think animation and compositing can be very closely related...Lots of Rebel animators out there. Compositing, editing, effects, color correction and matte painting all apply to both and The Guide is a good source.
I know you guys all already know it, but The Guide isn't just for action movies.

For the visual effects artiste, good animation skills will come in handy for matchmoving in 2D and 3D apps.

...Scotty that was funny you know...well, am I confused? I really don't think so. I think for cybercrypt13, the e-book doesn't make any sense...

I'm confused. Why doesnt the eBook make sense? Animation isnt just for cartoons. There are alot of action rebels out there. Rebels aren't just for action films. eBooks have more than animated action films about Rebels, they also have cooking books and things. Not that eBooks are just for cooking.

You can really be funny Gage...but in my own opinion, the e-book has great tips. I think with those tips, you might even practice your animation shots yourself without even joining the school... . Well, given the fact that you know how to use your animation software properly.
Well, the e-book is pretty cool....I think the tip I love the most is tip #2 or so...where he discussed using reference materials...I love that tip. Tho' I know how this is very important for VFx artiste but he stressed on how important it is to animators generally and also to get the right dynamics and also to see beyond just the action but also the rythmn of the action and registering that rythmn to your brain....
